Coming back to yourself

Coming Back to Yourself

A gentle, steady online practice — coming soon

Gentle, thoughtful yoga for people who find rest difficult, unfamiliar, or hard to prioritise.

This online course is being created for people who are tired of pushing — and ready for something steadier.

No pressure.
No rush.
No performance.

Just clear guidance, gentle movement, and practices you can return to whenever you need.

This course is for you if

  • You feel tired, worn down, or constantly “on”

  • You struggle to truly rest, even when you stop

  • Stillness feels uncomfortable or restless

  • You want gentle yoga, not a workout

  • You prefer calm, thoughtful guidance over hype

  • Once-a-week (or once-in-a-while) practice is realistic for your life

You do not need:

  • flexibility

  • yoga experience

  • lots of time

  • the “right” mindset

You’re welcome exactly as you are.

Coming Back to Yourself is a self-paced online course that gently teaches the body how to settle, rest, and feel steadier over time.

It’s not about doing more.

It’s about learning how to arrive.

Short, clear teaching videos

  • Calm explanations you can actually understand

  • Why rest can feel hard

  • Why slowing down takes practice

  • How to move and pause without forcing anything

Each teaching video is 5–20 minutes — focused and easy to return to, or build upon for longer sessions.

Weather you needing a reset, or woke up with a sore back or 5min to yourself..the options are endless

Step-by-step guided practices

  • Gentle yoga practices with short to longer options available

  • Clear, unhurried guidance

  • Options always offered

  • No peak poses or pressure

Practices include:

  • Arriving and settling

  • Choice-based movement

  • Breath awareness without force

  • Slow flow and supported rest

  • Short daily resets you can use anytime

Downloadable booklets

  • Each module includes a simple PDF booklet, designed to support learning without overwhelm.

  • Booklets include:

  • Key ideas in plain language

  • Gentle reminders (not instructions)

  • Reflection prompts (optional)

  • Suggestions for repeating practices

  • These are not workbooks.
They’re something to keep, not complete.

Knowledge you can return to

This course helps you understand

  • why your body responds the way it does

  • why “just relaxing” doesn’t always work

  • how steadiness is built gradually

  • what the benefits of each pose is having on your body and mind

  • how all of our bodies are different, but each movement is still perfect for you

  • slow, steady, correct form and integrated movement and breathe

No jargon.
No diagnosing.
Just practical understanding.

A pace that respects real life

  • Watch one module a week — or slower

  • Repeat practices as often as you like

  • Pause, skip, or return anytime

There is no finish line.

Come back to it, or use it whenever you need.

Daily, weekly, on commutes, when you wake up, lunchtimes, before bed, wherever you go!

How this is different

This is not:

  • performance yoga

  • fast-paced flow

  • motivational wellness

  • a “fix yourself” programme

  • bound by class times

This is:

  • respectful of tired bodies

  • designed for people who’ve lived

  • grounded in real teaching experience

  • calm enough to actually help

  • ready whenever and however you are
